Join us in New Orleans for a hands-on workshop exploring a set of free
online tools for applied science, technology, engineering, and math educators! ABOUT THE AMSER WORKSHOPAMSER, the Applied Math and Science Education Repository (http://amser.org), and the National Science Digital Library (http://nsdl.org) are offering a three-hour training workshop on using AMSER in educational settings on Monday March 5th during the 2007 Innovations Conference in New Orleans. Workshop participants will receive a stipend and follow-up support in return for their further participation over the next semester. Innovations 2007 attendees with an interest in the integration of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) online learning objects or digital resources into the classroom are especially encouraged to attend. Participants will gain hands-on experience using this powerful online set of tools, explore all of AMSER’s features, and discuss upcoming additions. Computers will be provided for use by workshop attendees, and participants will receive access to an array of online training pages as well as a set of print materials that can be used to train others on their own campuses or communities.
